There is a valve that is about 2' above the pit.I will post a picture when I can.does it look like the valve can be loosened to let water out and release the vapor lock, if that is it?īefore I put a pipe wrench to the bottom of the valve.I would like to know that it is threaded and not a glued joint if anyone knows.

What is the best way to troubleshoot? The ejector pipe has no cleanout, and the closest cleanout is a foot upstream from the 2" pipe going into the 6" pipe. So can it be vapor lock only in the 2" pipe? A blockage? When I run a sink upstairs I can hear water trickling into the 6" pipe. the correct replacement would be the 1/2 HP Replacement Sewage Pump for QWIK JON® Units, model WM266. While the dimensions may appear very similar, the switching mechanism is very different. The pipe goes to the joists, over to the perimeter and into the larger6" pipe to the sewer. The Zoeller QwikJon systems require an exact replacement pump and the M267 will NOT work.
Zoeller ejector pump full#
The vertical pipe that goes into the house sewer pipes seems full of water, again hard to tell.just tapped on it. I have unplugged the pump.I couldn't tell if the pump was trying to run since the pump is 6" under water.other than the hum. So there is water in the pit, the float switch (zoeller m211) is free to move.yet nothing. This is a roughed-in plumbing situation that has never been used other than the humidifier going into the floor drain.unfinished basement and bathroom.5 yr old house. The cover to the pit is off, and the pit is almost above the intake pipes. These general purpose 110 to 120V sewage ejector pumps remove sewage containing solids from drains where a gravity system wont work, such as in septic systems that are below the main sewer line. The pump is humming, but not pumping (no jokes plz :jester
